Essential oils can be overwhelming! There are so many options to choose from - pure essential oils or a blend, a rollerball or a regular essential oil.

There's a range of scents available - floral, woody, herbal, citrus and fruity. Then you need to consider how you plan to use them - diffuser, bath, massage and so on! At ECO we believe in modernising and simplifying aromatherapy so that we can all enjoy the amazing wellbeing benefits with ease.

Considerations

1. What are you looking for in an essential oil?

Essential oils have so many health benefits and can positively impact your wellbeing. Some of the common benefits people look for in an essential oil are:

  • Energising

  • Improved sleep

  • Relaxation

  • Stress & anxiety relief

  • Cold & flu relief

  • Improved concentration

2. How do you plan to use your essential oil?

There are a range of ways to use your essential oils. From using a diffuser, to topical application e.g. massage, adding to the bath, the way you use your essential oils will determine which oils to use.

If you are looking for a pleasant scent to use in a diffuser, you may with to shop by scent. Eco.Modern Essentials have a range of scents available, including floralherbalwoodycitrus and fruity. A diffuser will disperse the scent through your room, creating a lovely, serene atmosphere.

For a topical application, for example for a massage, you will need to mix a few drops of the chosen essential oil with one of our carrier oils. This is because essential oils can be quite potent and may irritate the skin if applied directly. Diluting the oil with a carrier oil will make it safe to apply to the skin.

If convenience is what you're after, try one of Eco’s rollerballs. These essential oils and blends have been combined with a carrier oil, so that you can easily apply to your skin while you're on the go.

If you are new to essential oils, and are having trouble picking just one, try one of Eco’s essential oil kits. This is a great introduction to aromatherapy, and a way to try a few different scents and to get a feel for what you like. Their 6 pack Wellbeing Collection and 6 pack Bestselling Blends Collection are a great place to start. They also make a great gift idea!

To make it really simple for you, ECO. have categorised their oils by purpose. They have also released a pure essential oil, essential oil blend, rollerball and kit for each purpose - so all you have to do is choose what works best for you!
